This Jalapeno Poppers recipe is the certain way to a delicious appetizer that everybody will love. Not to tell how quick and incredible easy it is to make.
And you will not need to many ingredients for this delicious dish. The star of this recipe is of course the jalapeno peppers, but you must be careful around them and don’t forget to use gloves when you cut them (lengthwise) and peel the seeds.
Beside the jalapeno peppers you will make the cheese mixture with cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder and chives (that last one you can add or skip). With this we will fill the jalapenos, and on top we add the crumbs.
Then you put this in the oven and wait for about 20 minutes. Then you will have those creamy, spicy, crusty incredible delicious jalapeno poppers.
If you have people in your group who is unable to tolerate any spice you may also create these using baby bell peppers that don’t have that spiciness. Create a number of each!
Cheesy Filling: Cream cheese is your foundation and that I put in a sharp cheddar since it has more taste. In addition, I add a few chives that you’ll be able to add or bypass and a dash of garlic powder. I find green onions have a little too much onion taste so chives include just the ideal amount. You might add your favorites.
Crispy Breading: A standard deep fried popper includes a breaded coating. I discover it is not worth the time/effort to attempt and coat the jalapeno when creating poppers. I create a Panko topping to scatter on top for the crunch! Just skip the bread wedges, if you want to create keto Jalapeno Poppers!
Optional: there are plenty of amazing things you may add to jalapeno poppers!
