We are in the Holiday season, and nothing will give me that unique feeling like the smell of fresh-baked cookies. So I suggest this incredible easy Christmas cookie recipe help you get that unique holiday vibe. My daughter loves to make these cookies with me, and she does an excellent job by helping me with them. I must admit that her favorite part is the decoration part. You will need just a couple of ingredients like flour, butter, egg, vanilla, baking powder, and of course, sugar.
We will mix these ingredients until we get our dought.
Then we will wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour.

After that roll, the dough and cut with cookie cutters, how many you can.
Now, all we have left to do is bake them for 10-12 minutes until they get that light brown color.
And when they cool down, we do the fun part and play with the sugar decorations.

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix the butter and the sugar until light and soft. Now add the egg and the vanilla and stir. Finally, add the dry ingredients (flour and baking powder) and mix until well blended.
  • Split the dough in 4 and wrap each one with plastic wrap, then leave in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • On your work surface roll one piece of dough 1/4 inch thickness, now cut the dough with cookie cutters.  
  • Bake cookies 10-12 minutes, until lightly brown. Decorate cookies with sugar decorations.
